I can’t deny the courage of these Iraqi amateur fighters who stood up to the invading terrorists despite terrible odds. Lacking proper training (unlike Juba) and only having a passenger can to stand against armored military vehicles, the sniper gave it his best shot (literally), but failed to deliver a mortal wound.
The terrorist survived and a bunch of his killer buddies went on a hunt for the miserably equipped shooters. They probably caught them and tortured them. And the outcome of it all – the rise of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Greater Syria (ISIS) that’s now better trained and also better equipped.
